Financial Accountant

Job Title: Financial AccountantLocation: Johannesburg, South AfricaWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Accountant to join our client's team in Johannesburg.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, and will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization.
The Financial Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Responsibilities:Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standardsOversee the month-end and year-end closing processesManage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of all financial dataAnalyze financial performance and provide insights to managementAssist with budgeting and forecasting processesMaintain and improve internal controls and processesWork closely with external auditors during the audit processStay up-to-date on changes in accounting standards and regulationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a relevant degree in FinanceMinimum 75% completion of the Graduate Trainee Program, OR minimum 2 years' experience at C-Upper levelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits:Salary: negotiableFamily Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Training & DevelopmentPaid Time Off (PTO) (if applicable)Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.We will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
