Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are also essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:Prepare VAT workings for monthly VAT submission to Tax Authority (1 week per month)Capture monthly bank statements on manual bank accountsPrepare monthly bank reconciliationsEnter invoices in SAP for paymentsPrepare payment packs for payments to be madeGeneral payment admin (Sends proof of payments to vendors, communicates with vendors to confirm banking details)Assistance with supporting calculations and disclosures related to the Annual Financial StatementsPreparation of workings for Quarterly Management Accounts for SARB regulatory reportingSends out Credit Card statements for captureWeekly cash reporting to Group TreasuryComplete online IXBRL format for Annual Financial Statements for regulator submissionAd hoc admin activitiesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in financial accountingStrong knowledge of accounting principles and regulationsProficient in Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsContact Hire Resolve today for your next career-changing move.
