Financial Accountant

Qualifications and Experience:
BCom Honours with completed articles (preferably SAICA or SAIPA).
2-3 years post-articles experience, specifically within the chemical or related manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
Conduct monthly financial reporting and detailed variance analysis.
Reconcile and review general ledger accounts and financial records.
Manage VAT submissions and tax computations.
Oversee and support internal and external audit processes.
Collaborate with the team on budgeting and forecasting processes.
Skills and Requirements:
Proven experience in financial reporting within the chemical or manufacturing sector.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (experience with [specific ERP, if applicable] is a plus).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
