Financial Accountant

Our client, a prominent player within the mining industry, is seeking a highly skilled and qualified Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the full financial function, including hedging and treasury responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chartered Accountant to make a significant impact within a growing and innovative organisation in the mining sector.

Duties:
Overseeing and managing the full financial function for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Managing and supporting hedging and treasury functions to mitigate financial risks and optimize cash flow.
Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with international accounting standards.
Managing financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Conducting variance analysis and providing recommendations for improvements to financial performance.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications: Qualified Chartered Accountant.

Experience: A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of the mining, construction or electric industries is preferred.
