Financial AccountantLocation: JhbContract Type: Temp to perm based on performanceSalary will be discussed with all shortlisted candidates.Qualifications:•Finance Degree with Honours•SAICA articles completed•2-5 years relevant experience (Non-CA required)Key Responsibilities:1.Management Accounts & Balance Sheet ReconsoEnsure accuracy of monthly journals (e.g., salaries, provisions, accruals)oMaintain and update Fixed Asset Register (FAR)oProcess intercompany contracts, matching Safex, hedges, forex, and oil sales2.Creditors ManagementoReview accuracy of creditor paperwork and reconsoManage creditor queries for the site3.Stock CountoAttend and oversee monthly stock counts, analyzing variancesoEnsure pre-count and audit preparation is complete4.Adhoc ResponsibilitiesoAssist with FNB/External/Internal audit requestsoSupport with posting creditors, debtors journals, and other management tasksRole Competencies:•Monthly management accounts preparation•Extensive IFRS and taxation knowledge•Safex, hedges, and forex experience•Stock management process and controls expertise•FMCG/Manufacturing environment exposure•Finance team management (creditors and stock)•Strong communication, conflict management, and report writing skillsWe appreciate all applications; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
