Financial Accountant

Job Description:
As the Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timeous reconciliations of AP and AR reconciliations
Investigate any discrepancies and resolve issues that may occur
Review bank and cash reconciliations at month-end
Review intercompany transactions and loan account reconciliations
Submit payroll and related returns for the companies
Prepare monthly statutory returns
Assist with preparing for annual budgets and review general ledger accounts
Ensure alignments with the budget and appropriate provisions
Draft monthly management accounts and other required reports
Prepare financial statements across two entities of the business
Liaise with stakeholders and operational departments to address reporting

Skills & Experience:
2 years post article experience
Experience with Sage Business Online Software
Experience in Group Accounting and intercompany transactions

Qualification:
Relevant Finance or Accounting degree
SAICA/CIMA articles are required
