Lead the Financial Function for a Growing Manufacturing Subsidiary

SALARY AND BENEFITS: R50000 - R55 000 CTC p/m

DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: Exciting opportunity available with a leading SA manufacturing group. As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the finance reporting function of one of their group subsidiaries. This role has been newly created due to the company's consistent growth, making it a perfect opportunity for those looking to advance their finance careers in a dynamic and expanding environment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BCom degree in Accounting Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles 2 – 5 years of experience in a financial accounting/financial reporting role Experience in the production/manufacturing/industrial sectors preferred Proficiency with Syspro ERP System highly advantageous Experience with costing and cost accounting Sound knowledge of IFRS RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS Compile and analyze monthly management accounts Interpret and report on financial results to support business decisions Develop and maintain quarterly rolling plans and update monthly forecasts Oversee the review of general ledger and creditor's reconciliations Ensure accuracy in intercompany account reconciliations Coordinate preparation for internal and external audits Manage the completion and submission of SARS VAT audits Optimize and manage financial systems and processes within the subsidiary SOFT SKILLS/ADDITIONAL INFO: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Proficient in financial systems management, particularly Syspro Strong leadership and team management capabilities Do you see yourself as the successful Finance Manager at this leading Company?
