Finance Clerk

Electrical distributor is looking for a Finance Clerk to join their organisation.
The Finance Clerk provides support in the day-to-day management of financial transactions within the company.
Responsibilities: Accurately record and process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
Verify and process supplier invoices.
Assist with tracking of outstanding payments and following up with customers as needed.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure they are up to date.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing and maintaining financial documents.
Essential Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software.
Experience with financial audits or compliance will be beneficial.
