Field Sales Engineer - Instrumentation - Africa (French)Location: LanseriaType: Permanent, Full TimePublished: 17 hours agoEE/AA: Non EE/AAIntroductionA leading global provider of industrial solutions is seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Sales Engineer to join our team in Africa. This role is based in Johannesburg and will be required to travel within Africa (DRC). Fluency in French is a MUST.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory in Africa.Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including industrial manufacturers, engineering firms, and contractors.Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our client solutions and capabilities, effectively communicating value propositions and benefits.Collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment on customer requirements and project execution.Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including product recommendations, solution customization, and technical assistance, to address customer inquiries and concerns.Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation to track performance metrics and support decision-making processes.Represent our client at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and expand the company's presence in the African market.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients and stakeholders.Desired Experience & QualificationFrench SpeakingSales experience with technical products within the Instrumentation and Process Automation SectorsQualification within the relevant field (Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Process Automation)
