Key Responsibilities:
Go To Market Execution:Oversee the deployment and management of FAOs who engage FMCG retailers to drive digital adoption of our app. Strategically deploy and realign FAO resources based on the evolving customer acquisition and expansion strategy. Ensure that FAOs are optimally placed to target high-potential markets and customer segments, adjusting deployment in response to market feedback and performance data.
Productivity Optimization:Utilize the RedTAG application to monitor and enhance the daily productivity of FAOs, capturing real-time insights and market intelligence. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes for FAOs.
Performance Management:Develop and manage a Relative Scorecard system to drive performance management and incentives for FAOs, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
P&L Management & Cost Optimization:Manage the FAO structure like a P&L, being responsible for budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation. Optimize the deployment and realignment of FAOs based on customer acquisition and expansion strategy.
Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, to ensure alignment with GTM strategy and execution.
Requirements:
At least 6-8 years of experience in Go-To-Market strategy, sales management, or field operations, preferably in the FMCG or e-commerce sectors.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
Extensive experience working in or managing teams in emerging markets, particularly in Africa.
Proven track record of driving successful adoption of digital products or managing Market activation and engagement strategies.
Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and cost optimization within a large-scale field operations context.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on improving productivity, performance tracking, and cost control.
Proficiency in using data and analytics tools (SFAs and CRMs) to monitor productivity, manage costs, and drive operational efficiency.
Strong understanding of emerging market dynamics, particularly in the FMCG sector.
Results-driven with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving business growth.
