Our client (Animal Shelter) based in George is looking to appoint a Field Officer to join their team. If you have a love for animals and are dedicated to their welfare, this is the opportunity for you!Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):Respond to animal rescues, emergencies, and cruelty callsEducate the community on animal care, handling, and sterilisationPerform inspections and document animal welfare concernsAssist in the collection of sick, injured, and unwanted animalsTake photos for investigations and follow-up inspectionsWork closely with inspectors and promote animal welfare across businessesRequirements:Registered as an Animal Welfare AssistantQualified Field Officer with at least 1 year of experienceValid Code 8 driver's licenceSAPS clearance certificatePassion for animal welfare and good animal handling skillsExcellent communication and administrative skillsAbility to work after hours and under pressure
