Requirements
Reservations/ Spa
Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality as FOH/Reservations/Spa Therapist.
Responsible for reservations and FOH duties as well as assisting lodge managers and filling in while GM couple is on leave so overseeing all aspects of lodge operations, including guest services and the various departments such as: housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B.
The candidate will also be required to stand in while the current spa therapist/reservationist goes on leave, therefore must be fully qualified somatologist (ITEC, CIDESCO, SAAHSP or CIBTAC) and able to perform a range of treatments competently.
Spa Treatments include: Massage (Deep Tissue, Swedish, Hot Stone, Aromatherapy, Indian Head and Reflexology), Facials, Manicure/Pedicures, Body Wraps and Exfoliation treatments.
It is crucial that the person is trustworthy, punctual, reliable, presentable and a team-player.
Good Communication skills are also a must and maintaining high standards of i need toservice and hospitality to exceed guest expectations.
This individual should also be able to assist with general administration at the lodge therefore strong administrative and organizational abilities essential.
Coordinate bookings/reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently – taking and processing payments.
Curio shop sales and monthly stock takes.
Experience on PANHospitality reservations and accounting system would be a huge advantage.
Duties will also include hosting of guests/agents and handling guest inquiries, concerns or complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner. Good command of the English language is a necessity as they will be dealing with mostly international guests.
Further responsibilities will be doing room checks and overseeing housekeeping department.
Managing and supervising lodge staff, work schedules, leave applications, assign tasks, and monitor staff performance to maintain high standards of service.
Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure and leading by example is very important.
Availability to work flexible hours and extra hours when required.

Previous history with managing the Guiding department and Maintenance department.
