Feedlot Operations Manager

Job Summary:Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Feedlot Supervisor to join our team. As a Feedlot Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of feedlot operations, including personnel management, cattle handling, and maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage feedlot operations, including personnel, cattle handling, and maintenance.Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the feedlot, including monitoring performance and implementing improvements.Develop and implement strategies to improve stockmanship and cattle handling practices.Collaborate with the Farm Manager to develop and implement plans to improve feedlot operations and achieve business objectives.Manage and maintain accurate records of feedlot operations, including cattle inventory, feed usage, and maintenance schedules.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience in feedlot operations or a related field.Strong knowledge of feedlot operations, including cattle handling, nutrition, and health.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.What We Offer:A competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and supportive work environment.
