IntroductionA leading fashion retailer is seeking Fashion, Beauty and Homeware Departmental Managers for the KwaZulu Natal region. The suitable candidates will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer care and a world-class shopping experience.
Areas where suitable candidates must reside include Durban central, Musgrave, Windermere, Amanzimtoti, Westville, Westwood, Malvern, Queensburgh, Upper Highway, Pietermaritzburg, La Lucia, Umhlanga, Tongaat, Ballito, and Stanger.
DescriptionEnsure departmental sales are in line with budgets.Drive stock availability and implement Clothing and Home stock inventory processes in the allocated area.Maintain shopkeeping disciplines in the allocated department, including ticketing, adjacencies, rack alignment, hangers, hygiene and cleanliness, replenishment, sample trolley, merchandising principles, stockroom disciplines, product quality, proportionality, and availability.Deliver a consistent customer shopping experience in line with agreed service levels.Maximize promotional and special event sales.Conduct weekly risk documentation.Ensure timely replenishment of stock.Implement and monitor all departmental activities.Manage people, including staffing, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.Education Profile2 years management experience in a Fashion Retail environment.2 years retail experience.Understanding of inventory management.Innate awareness of clothing and home retail trends.Skills and Competencies: Action orientation.Team leadership.Building talent.Persuading and influencing.Presenting and communicating information.Planning and organizing.Coping with pressures and setbacks.Application InstructionsPlease forward your CV to ******.
