DESCRIPTION / SYNOPSIS: We are seeking a passionate and mechanically inclined Farm Supervisor to join our agricultural team in Potchefstroom. This role is perfect for someone with experience working with farming machinery and a keen interest in agriculture. You will assist the farm manager and agronomists with various duties, including planting trial seeds and managing labour workers. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical experience; ability to fix machinery on the farm Agricultural and/or mechanical qualifications are beneficial Experience with row crops – sunflowers, potatoes, soy, maize etc. Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans Valid driver's license essential (EB/EC1; Code 10 beneficial) Proficient in Excel and Word Strong interpersonal skills; able to motivate employees and handle pressure Deadline-driven; able to work under supervision and independently RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist the farm manager and agronomists with various duties Plant trial seeds at different sites Manage the mechanical aspects of planters and other machinery Oversee and manage labor workers Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of farming equipment Support with day-to-day farm operations and administration Foster a positive and productive work environment SOFT SKILLS/ADDITIONAL INFO: Strong mechanical aptitude Passion for agriculture and farming Ability to work well in a team and independently Excellent communication and motivational skills Capable of handling high-pressure situations Detail-oriented and highly organized Do you see yourself as the successful Farm Supervisor at this leading Company?
