Farm Production Manager

Job Summary As a key member of our Farm Manager SA team, the Farm Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the production and management of our agricultural operations. This includes ensuring the timely and accurate execution of production tasks, measurement and collection of relevant data, and implementation of efficacies of sprays, pruning, and irrigation.
Key Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate execution of production tasks as communicated by and agreed with the Production Manager.Measurement and collection of relevant data to provide feedback in terms of measuring efficacies of production against protocols and planning.Implement, measure, and evaluate the efficacies of sprays, pruning, and irrigation, contract workers, and provide feedback to the Production Manager.Management of stock, labour and production costs, record keeping, and reports to the Production Manager.Requirements Grade 12.Relevant qualification in Agriculture/Farming would be advantageous.Minimum of 2-5 years experience in farming/managerial role.Code C1(10) Drivers Licence.Competencies and Skills Excellent planning and organisational skills with attention to detail.Strong leadership skills and ability to work confidently in a group.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude.Excellent time management skills.Ability to multitask.Flexibility.What We Offer A competitive salary package.Opportunities for career growth and development.A dynamic and supportive work environment.
