Job summary: Manage a number of timber farms with a variety of genera.
Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, oversee and control the activities involving a typical commercial forestry operation in rotation.Maintain relationship with local communities.Measure and report contractors performance.Manage all permanent teams.Fire prevention and response in seasonMaintain FSC standards and administration.Adhere to safety and environmental standards.Qualifications and Requirements: Excellent track recordNo criminal recordValid drivers licenseFormal traceable academic qualificationsExperience in preparation, planting,thinning, weed control, harvesting and transport.Salary and Benefits: Market related with all statutory benefits
