Farm Manager

The Farm Manager is responsible for the financial and physical performance of the farm, ensuring efficient and profitable operations through effective planning, organization, supervision, and administration. The farm specializes in pecan nut production and spans 100 hectares.Qualifications & Experience:Relevant tertiary degree/diploma in agriculture and/or horticulture (advantageous).5–10 years of relevant farm production experience.Core Skills & Competencies:Horticultural practices and fruit production.Strong computer literacy (MS Office).Good agricultural and financial management.Basic HR legislation knowledge.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and open-minded.Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.Excellent people-management and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement operational plans to achieve production targets.Manage day-to-day farming activities and ensure best practices.Oversee quality assurance and prioritize fruit quality.Manage budgets, resources, and projects efficiently.Ensure compliance with company policies and legislation.Foster a motivated and committed workforce.
