Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 5 years in stone fruit or similar agricultural operations.Experience in guest farm management is beneficial.Fluent in English and Afrikaans.Strong work ethic.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Proven management and leadership capabilities.Strong project planning and monitoring abilities.Ability to work under pressure, maintain organisation, and enforce discipline.Commitment to continuous learning and striving for excellence.HospitalityMinimum of 5 years of high-end hospitality management.A matric certificate and qualification in hospitality is required.Fluent in English and Afrikaans; additional languages are beneficial.Well-presented with a passion for hospitality, hosting, and entertaining.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high guest experience standards.Creative flair for aesthetics and interior design.Enthusiastic about food and wine with a hands-on approach.Strong leadership and staff management skills.Well-developed problem-solving capabilities.HR management responsibilities, including recruitment, performance management, training, and labour relations.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Farm ManagerOperational:Manage all aspects of the farm, including orchards, gardens, vegetables, animals, game, maintenance, and business operations.Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring effective delegation, support, and performance management.Develop and implement production plans to optimise yield and quality.Oversee and manage crop production tasks, including irrigation, fertilisation, pest control, and harvesting.Ensure compliance with industry standards and drive cost efficiency without compromising quality or guest experience.Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for the farming division.Technical Knowledge:Excellent understanding of farming with nature, permaculture, and organic farming principles.Open to innovation and evolving farming practices; passionate about plants.Mechanically inclined, with knowledge of tractors, equipment, and general machinery.Ability to manage small improvement projects on the farm.Prepare and manage budgets.Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective measures.HospitalityOperational:Develop and maintain top-class customer care standards.Tailor bespoke guest experiences focused on slow living, farm-to-table dining, and relaxation.Financial and Administrative:Financial management, including budgeting, profitability targets, billing, and stock/asset management.Proficient in Microsoft Office and general administrative tasks.Valid driver's license required.ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
