Exciting Contract Opportunity for a Factory Finance Controller: Drive Financial Performance in a Leading Global Manufacturing Facility!Job & Company DescriptionsA renowned global company in the FMCG industry is seeking a skilled Factory Finance Controller to join their South African factory on a 9-month contract basis. This position plays a key role in providing comprehensive cost and management accounting services, ensuring the delivery of reliable gross margin, cost, volume, and savings information to support strategic planning, control, and decision-making.Duties:Key Member of Factory Leadership Team: Provide strategic guidance on budgeting, procurement, statutory compliance, vendor payments, and cost allocations.Financial Budget Oversight: Formulate and review the financial budget, assist departments in budget calculation, drive cost-saving initiatives, and consolidate factory budgets for presentation to the Area team.Systems and Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls and the Global Financial Control Framework (GFCF), including SOP formulation and asset verification.Month-End and Closing: Oversee factory accounting activities, review balance sheet reconciliations, and prepare monthly reports on factory performance metrics, such as conversion costs, energy use, and capital expenditure.Audit Coordination: Manage internal and statutory audits related to factory operations and ensure audit points are resolved.Business Partnering: Serve as the financial lead and partner to the Factory Director, providing support to ensure smooth supply chain operations.Qualifications & Skills:Relevant Finance DegreeCA(SA) or CIMA qualificationMinimum of 4 years' experience in a multinational organization, preferably in manufacturingExperience in inventory management and previous people management experienceStrong Excel and PowerPoint skillsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
