Facilities Manager

Tasks and Responsibilities:Managing Repairs and Monitoring Systems Performance: Overseeing maintenance, ensuring that repairs are promptly addressed and systems (such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical) are functioning well.Maintaining an Adequate Inventory of Parts: Keeping track of necessary parts and order items as needed.Supervising Maintenance Staff: Overseeing the team responsible for maintaining the facilities.Compliancy with Security and Safety Regulations: Making sure the facilities meet relevant health and safety standards.Managing Renovations, Refurbishments, and Office Moves: Coordinating changes to the building layout or infrastructure.Providing Advice on Energy Efficiency: Finding ways to improve energy usage.Managing Budgets and Accounts: Handling of financial aspects related to facility management.Landscaping and Other Services: In charge of the hotel grounds and garden.Coordinating New Building Projects: Working with the General manager to implement new construction or renovations.Security coordination: Overseeing and coordination with the Security service provider.Requirements:Education: Minimum a high school diploma, with additional education or certification in engineering or facility management preferred.Experience: Previous experience in hotel maintenance is usually required.Strong Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills is essential.Strong Organizational Skills: Good organizational skills are crucial.Multitasking Ability / Hands onCommunication / Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication is necessary; ability to build relationships with colleagues, contractors, and guests is vital.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionProject ManagementIndustriesTechnology, Information and Internet
