New Business Development RepresentativeAlpha Power Solutions, a leader in Power Factor Correction Industry and Optimisation of Electrical Supply Capacity, is looking for a dynamic New Business Development Representative, passionate about growing the business through new customers.Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Understand customer requirements to promote the sale of solutions offered by the companySell electrical energy efficiency and electrical power quality solutionsConfer with customers and engineers to assess and customize solutions for each customerPerform technical presentations that explain products and solutions to customers and prospective customersGrow the sales funnelEffectively manage a formal referral systemManagement of all won/lost deals to improve sales performanceCustomer Relations Management of all existing and new leadsProactively identify changes and give feedback on existing market and competitive pressures and to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordinglyPrepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecastsMeet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts, agreed with senior managementIdentify new and existing channels for growthDesired Experience & QualificationExperience:Experience in business developmentExperience in Problem Solving Solution sellingStrong presentational skillsHigh degree of commercial awareness and good negotiation skillsHave experience in developing strategic and innovative ideasBe prepared to travel mostly in Gauteng but occasionally across SA and sub-Saharan Africa, including overnight staysFull South African driver's licenseMinimum of 10 years of sales experience in the electrical solutions industry requiredGood understanding of Electrical Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy and Electrical Power QualityPackage & RemunerationSalary: Basic + car allowance + high commissionLocation: Cleveland, Johannesburg
