The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers.
The role requires a proactive approach to identify sales opportunities, understand customer needs, and deliver tailored solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, networking, and market research.Conduct regular visits to customers to maintain strong relationships and understand their evolving needs.Present and demonstrate our client's products to customers, highlighting key features and benefits.Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product support.Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products.Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to inform sales strategies.Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including activity logs, sales forecasts, and customer feedback.Qualifications and Skills:Proven experience as an External Sales Representative or in a similar sales role.Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.Strong negotiation and closing skills.Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.Key salespersonDeal with high end VIP customers, call customer, arrange deliveries, process ordersFetch new businessPresentable and well spokenMust have 5years sales experienceAbility to learn 6500 line items quickly (some of a technical nature)Must be a serious go getter and high energyGood organisational skillsWorking hours: Full time permanent positionArea: Cape Town, office based in Woodstock.Salary: R10 000-R16 000 (depending on experience) + tiered commission.
