MAIN KPI'S FOR THIS ROLE:

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and drives as directed by management.
Visit top 20 customers twice a month and create a customer strategy for the quarter.
Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities to customers.
Assess viability of Client base for the Region.
Ensure that entire customer base is visited once a month.
Identify new retail hardware stores and engage.
Ensure that stores are merchandise as per Safe Top's standards.
Conduct 2 demo days per month in stores.
Ensure that all customers have stand and service level agreement in place.
Manage and ensure execution of instore installations as per Safe Top standards.
Ensure that stands are maintained by the Merchandiser.
Submit weekly call planner to the Assistant Sales Manager.
Generate monthly sales reports.
Complete customer contracts.
Complete proposals and quotations daily for new proposed customers.
Assist with completion of Credit Applications and submit to Head Office.
Travel to outlying areas.
Establish and maintain sound and professional relationships with clients.
Build and maintain relationships with retail hardware outlets in the region.
Support, mentor, and coach the Merchandiser on an ongoing basis.

Personal Attributes & Requirements:

Ability to analyze sales data statistics and translate results into solutions.
Eager to expand the Safe Top brand with new sales, minimum 100 clients, and territories.
Proven results of meeting sales goals.
Ability to multitask as an organized, methodical thinker.
Valid driver's license is essential.
Willingness to travel for business purposes.
Proficient with Microsoft Office/PowerPoint/Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
Well-coordinated with time and route planning.
Customer-focused with attention to detail focusing on sales goals.
Excellent interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills.
Work well under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment and commit to strict deadlines.
Be well-groomed and presentable.
Be self-motivated and a team player.
Knowledge of Skynamo CRM system (advantageous).
Must be willing to travel to outlining areas.

Requirements: A valid driver's license with own vehicle.
