External Sales RepresentativeReference: PE002306-RW-1Our client in the manufacture, distribution and provisioning of packaging and fastening industry is currently looking to employ an External Sales Representative based in KwaZulu-Natal.A wonderful career opportunity awaits you.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements:Own vehicle, laptop and smartphone.Necessary skills for communicating with different levels of decision makers in the manufacturing industry.Must be target driven, friendly, a team player, and willing to learn and work well under pressure.An experienced Sales Consultant with 3 years' experience servicing the manufacturing sector is an added advantage. Selling to manufacturing companies requires special skills and an understanding of the manufacturing process to see where our products can add value.Excellent English skills - written and spoken. Zulu language is an added advantage.Strong leadership and administrative skills.Good time management and Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, emails).Presentation skills and engagement on electronic platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webinar).High level of motivation and continuous improvement mentality.Responsibilities and expectations include but are not limited to:Acquire new customers consistently for the growth of the Company.Customer service and retention, quotations, meeting all client needs, responding to emails, and liaising with customers.Take ownership of meeting requirements for assigned customers, grow market share, and develop profitable sales.Find new growth opportunities and form strategic partnerships that open new markets.Acquire new business and manage a group of assigned key customers.Increase the number of products at existing customers.Develop sales by analyzing, implementing, and controlling opportunities within the assigned market sector.Build and maintain fruitful working relationships with all levels and successfully introduce new products within the assigned market sector.Achieve set financial targets: Sales turnover and margins, product volumes, and expenses.
