You will be developing and maintaining relationships with customers in several industries, which means you need to be a focused, proactive self-starter, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you're a service provider, as well as a customer advocate within Fawkes Thermal Manufacturing (Pty) LTD. You'll use your skills to develop and close new business, grow existing business, rejuvenate business, and support your team with feedback, knowledge shared and other collaterals. Above all, you will be responsible for achieving your sales and customer satisfaction targets.Duties & Responsibilities1. PURPOSE OF THE ROLETo co-ordinate and manage, on a day-to-day basis, customer accounts (orders, queries, quotes and deliveries) and ensure that objectives are adhered to and met. Detailed ResponsibilitiesIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and cold callingExceed the target set in terms of turnoverMeet the targets set by Fawkes Thermal ManufacturingManage all aspects and outcomes of the company's customer activitiesMaintain customer accountsDrive customer service excellence in the assigned regionGrow the existing levels of business from existing customersPromote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approachGenerate additional business through customer acquisition in line with the company's objectivesAcquire referrals and engage in networking activitiesGrow customer accounts in terms of order volume and frequencyManage customers from acquisition through maintenance and growthSeek opportunities to develop additional business through opportunity analysisMaintain and develop contact, follow-ups on networking opportunitiesMeet with alternate customer supplier representatives and arrange joint presentationsIdentify new pattern opportunities and rejuvenate commissioning of existing/unused patterns1.3. Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with customers at all levels within the customer companyMake telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers1.4. Administration ActivitiesGenerate effective account status and visit reportsConduct weekly status meetings and/or feedbackDraft and submit review documents for accountsAudit and quality control new ordersTravel nationally when requiredAttend sales and production meetingsPlan and organise personal sales strategyCompile contract/status reportsAssist with any promotions and eventsReview and manage: Quotes, Orders and Project Tracking1.5.
