Main Tasks / ResponsibilitiesThe main tasks and responsibilities are to manage demand and supply of the respective industrial products through a network of industrial customers and to market the industrial brands through methods that would include but are not limited to:Promote the respective brand(s) and products in the region.Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.Indirectly and directly grow sales through the region by providing excellent customer relationship building, support, and channel offerings.Fully understand the customers' dynamics and work with this dynamic in creating long-term relationships and brand support.Effectively communicate new products and solutions into the region and ensure customer buy-in.Liaise with other departments internally regarding managing product supply, sales support, and technical aspects, with a view of customer delight.Take ownership of the region and ensure a strong and professional business relationship.Develop and implement a growth strategy that focuses on specific market segments in the region.Sell and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.Deal with clients professionally at all times.Provide feedback to Sales Manager on a weekly basis.Liaise with Sales Manager where necessary.Promote/sell/secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a solutions-based approach.Market products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs.Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization.Make telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.Identify advantages and compare organization products/services.Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.New business generation using our sales methodology and sales prompter – no cold calling allowed.Quoting.Price increase notification.Product knowledge.Logging of all activities on IRAS.Ad-hoc attendance of production meetings.Updating of Jobs to cancel sheet.Provide internal sales with updated contract pricing for specific customers.Following of direct instructions.Cancelling of invalid orders.Cancelling of jobs that are no longer required.Quarterly contribution towards the board report.
