THE OPPORTUNITY IIE Varsity College, Pietermaritzburg campus is seeking appointees in the field of Customer Relations Management to strengthen the teaching and research capabilities in the Faculty of Management Studies.
JOB PURPOSE The primary purpose of this position is the delivery of effective facilitation/lecturing on qualifications and all associated academic activities such as student engagement and support that will promote student success and learning.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Lecturing/Facilitation Marking Student support Competencies Required: Communications skills Organisational skills Time management Minimum Education Requirements per module: Ideal: Honours Degree in one of the Business-related fields with Marketing or a similarly related field (e.g.
entrepreneurship, sales; business management; marketing; or retail management) to the third-year degree level.
Alternatively: Honours in one of the Marketing Management related fields (e.g.
Integrated Marketing Communications; Marketing Communications) with marketing to the third-year degree level.
Minimum Work Experience Requirements: Lecturing experience in Marketing/ Entrepreneurship/ sales/ business management related fields with module related to consumer behaviour.
Work experience as a sales manager, running a business/ entrepreneurship/ marketing manager.
Working Conditions: This is an Independent Contractor role.
