Skills: Exports, Supply Planning, Agriculture, packhousesSalary Type: AnnualLocation: City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality, GPJob Published: 23-09-2024Job ID: 35168Job DescriptionOur client, a fully integrated producer, packer, and marketer based in the Citrusdal Valley, Western Cape, is seeking an Export Supply Planner to join our Export Marketing team.Role Overview:The role will be responsible for the continuous control and coordination of internal supply chain processes and planning from production and packing to local and export sales.Minimum Requirements:A relevant B.Eng. or B.Sc. degree in Supply Chain.1-2 years of experience in an export setting within the agricultural sector.Excellent organizational skills and numerical capability.Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to work accurately under time constraints.Willingness and ability to work and prosper within a team environment.Self-motivated, driven, resilient, and humble.Duties and Responsibilities:Continuous planning and coordination of product flow with various operational functions and facilities.Collaborate with procurement, marketing, and sales to determine the optimal supply and demand solution from multiple production units and multiple packhouses.Issue packing instructions to packhouses based on the supply and demand plan.Manage order adjustments and execution.Build and manage relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
