EXPORT MANAGERS X 2 An export manager in the manufacturing packaging industry is responsible for the development and management of a company''s commercial activities abroad. They are a key player in the field of international trade and have a variety of responsibilities, including: Market expansion : Identifying and assessing potential international markets for the company''s products Developing EXPORT strategies : Developing and implementing strategies to expand the company''s market reach Building relationships : Developing strong customer relationships with foreign partners Managing supply chain : Managing the supply chain process from production to customer delivery Managing logistics : Managing the logistics of documentation, shipping, customs, and insurance Managing inventory : Managing the inventory of goods held in stock in the company''s facilities and client warehouses Ensuring compliance : Ensuring compliance with import and export regulations and documentation requirements Optimizing supply chain : Optimizing supply chain processes to minimize costs and enhance efficiency Negotiating contracts : Negotiating contracts and agreements with logistics service providers Coordinating with relevant departments : Ensuring orders are executed on time Preparing and reviewing export documentation : Ensuring the accuracy of export documentation, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and export declarations Minimum Qualifications & Experience required National Diploma or Bachelors degree in Business Management or any commercial related field. Should have at least 5 years export management relevant experience. in the field of packaging manufacturing or food manufacturing related organization. Have good commercial acumen. Should have good communication skill. Must be willing to travel to other SADC region countries
