HAIR CITY has a fantastic opportunity for an Experienced Social Media & Content Manager to join our team!
We are South Africa's leading retailer and E-commerce website that specializes in Brazilian & Peruvian Wigs & hair accessories.
We are growing fast and are looking for an experienced social media manager to take ownership of our social media function in terms of content creation, posting, community management, working with influencers, exploring new brand partnerships as well as assisting in ad creation for social media platforms.
The ideal candidate is someone who is an experienced Social Media manager, with a passion for the hair and beauty industry, with a fantastic eye and who would be comfortable taking ownership of the entire social media function and taking what the brand has built on social platforms to the next level.
You will report directly to the CEO and Operations Manager in this position.
Duties & Responsibilities Full ownership and responsibility for executing the brand's social media and digital strategy.
Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
Manage and grow the brand's social media presence, increasing followers and engagement rates.
Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a timely manner.
Utilize paid social media advertising to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to the company's website.
Arrange content for website purposes (e.g., static product images, model shoots & videos).
Liaise with influencers, arrange product drops & meet influencers at our branches to assist with content creation and managing relationships.
Establish new partnership opportunities with other brands.
Stay up-to-date with trends and developments across the various social media channels as well as stay informed on platform algorithm changes and adjust content strategies as needed.
Analyze social media metrics and prepare regular performance reports.
