Canaan College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Executive Principal. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the success and growth of the College. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership:Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to staff and learners.Foster a positive and collaborative learning environment.Lead and oversee higher-level disciplinary matters.Ensure the implementation of all school policies and codes of conduct.Operational and Financial Management:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the college.Manage the college's budget and ensure financial sustainability.Implement efficient operational procedures to maximize productivity and minimize costs.Academic Leadership:Ensure the delivery of high-quality education and the achievement of learner outcomes.Lead the development and implementation of the college's academic programs.Provide leadership in professional development for teaching staff to ensure continuous improvement in teaching methodologies and learner outcomes.Marketing and Community Engagement:Represent the college to all its stakeholders and the wider community.Develop and implement effective marketing and community engagement strategies.Build strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups.Qualifications and Experience: Honours or master's degree in education or a related field is required.SACE registration.Excellent knowledge of the CAPS curriculum.Knowledge on D6 and SASAMS.Previous experience in a leadership role within an educational setting.Proven track record of effective leadership, judgement and management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Security Clearances: South African Police Services, Police Clearance Certificate (also known as a SAPS PCC).Sexual Offenders Register Clearance.Child Protection Register Check.Failure to provide all the above clearances will result in the application not being considered.
