Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Executive Chef – Luxury Resort and SPA – KZNRequirements:• Diploma in professional cookery• +3 years' experience as Head/Sous Chef• 5* communication skills with team members and clients• Sound knowledge of PLUSPOINT system• Knowledge of food costing and menu planning• Strong management skills to ensure smooth running of the kitchen (ESSENTIAL)Duties and Responsibilities:• Maintain and control all food procurement, receiving goods, storage, issuing and stock take procedures.• Plan and direct food preparation culinary activities• Modify and create menus the meet quality standards• Estimate food requirements and labour costs• Manage kitchen staff operations• Arrange for equipment purchases/repairs• Always be price conscious when purchasing food items or kitchen consumables• Inspect each delivery to ensure highest quality of food items• Ensure that portion control is always managed• Ensure the reprocessing of food is actively implemented and managed dailyPackage on offer:• Salary – R apply below• AccommodationStarting date: ASAP
