Estimator (Part-time)Flexible hours - some US hours requiredOne of our US based clients that provides flooring for new construction are seeking an Estimator to join their construction team on a part-time project basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of flooring materials (hardware, ceramic, vinyl, and hardwood) and be proficient in estimating projects, including calculating square footage and determining material requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Estimation: Accurately estimate flooring projects, including calculating square footage and determining material requirements.Material Selection: Select appropriate flooring materials based on project specifications and client preferences.Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment.Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of flooring installation techniques, including transitions and corner details.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in flooring estimation.Strong knowledge of flooring materials (hardware, ceramic, vinyl, and hardwood).Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans and specifications.Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.Ability to work independently.
