Estimator

Our client is seeking an Estimator with experience in the Engineering Industry, specifically with exposure to structural, mechanical, and piping environments. This will be a permanent opportunity and based in Johannesburg.
Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:

Prepare estimations and tenders for all construction projects.
Provide technical and financial solutions for tenders.
Accurately take off quantities from drawings.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for installations.
Prepare pricing schedules/ BOQs.

Qualification:

Grade 12
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or similar (NQF Level 7)

Experience:

5-10 years of experience working as an Estimator within the Engineering industry.
Experience in Piping, Mechanical, and Structural environments.
Experience working on power plant or heavy industrial projects (essential).
Read and comprehend mechanical, construction designs, and assembly drawings (structural or mechanical).
CCS experience.
