KEY RELATIONSHIPS: CEO, Estimating & Procurement Manager, Tender Administrators, Buyers, HR, SHEQ, Logistics, External stakeholdersEDUCATION: Degree/National Diploma/BTech in Quantity Surveying in Quantity SurveyingEXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 Years Experience in Estimating.Experience in construction projects in an Estimating/Construction QS position (an advantage)Valid Drivers LicenseKNOWLEDGE:Understand the tendering process and have suitable contractual knowledge of the different types of tenders and their requirements.A methodical approach to workLiterate with good mathematical knowledge High level of knowledge on JBCC, FIDIC, NEC3, GCC etc. Conditions of ContractKnowledge of Pricing ProcessUnderstanding of the external market conditionsUnderstanding of regional rates and supply chain processes and policies.Understanding different types of construction methodologies.Understanding market and economic environment for which he/she is responsible.Electrical contracting experience is an advantage.
