Vacancy available for seasoned Engineering Project Manager specifically for Electronic Engineering industry - Environment includes Hardware, Firmware, Software and Mechanical disciplines within an Agile Project Management Team. Purpose of the role:Responsible for providing overall project management for the Company's product developments. The engineering project manager will be looked to for guidance and decision-making on major issues related to the execution and delivery. Will maintain an ongoing work plan and will ensure that all development work carried out is in alignment with the goals and objectives of the Innovation Strategy as defined by the Executive and Chief Innovation Officer. This individual will be a key contributor to the engineering team for planning, budgeting and other general management issues, as well as in mentoring others in project management practices.Responsibilities: 1. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changingrequirements;2. Manages resources in conjunction with functional managers, production and sub-contractors;3. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope;4. Effectively manages project risk through mitigation planning5. Monitors and reports on schedule and cost, margins and profitability6. Effectively applies Project Management methodology;7. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures;a. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriatelyCredentials / Knowledge1. 4+ years experience in Electronic Engineering Development2. 4+ years experience in Project Management;3. Project Management;4. Extensive experience managing in a cross-functional team environment, which includes but are not limited to, hardware, firmware, software and mechanical disciplines;5. Electronic Engineering Degree;6. Project Management Certification from a recognized institution/association;7. Experience with Agile project management Scrum methodologies;8. Relevant experience in the mining industry (optional);9. Candidate should have good interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external customers as well as a diverse staff group;10.
