Our client, a power solutions company with office in Johannesburg (West Rand and Rose Bank) is looking for a Project Engineer to join their dynamic team.Project Engineer for Battery storage, Microgrid systems – Special focus on off grid for remote luxury safari industry. We are looking for Project Engineer who will join our client's Camps Business unit.As Project engineer you will drive the project engineering reporting to the Engineering Manager and working in team with the Project Manager.Your Responsibilities:Execution of Battery storage (BESS) and Microgrid projects leading all the technical activities and coordinating the project teamProactively seek and implement improvements in the execution process.Living values of safety and integrityBe part of a team and act as a team playerSupport of bid & proposal team including costingsRequirements:Degree / diploma in Electrical EngineeringAt least 3 years of professional experienceFluency in both spoken & written English is required.Good knowledge of power systems, LV, MV electrical equipment, switchgears, generation equipment is required.Knowledge of Microgrid systems, battery storage, renewable generation is considered as a plusGood knowledge of MS Office tools is requiredFlexibility to travel (occasionally) is requiredThis is a full-time permanent position based in Johannesburg.Salary offered: R40 000-R60 000 depending on experience. Please apply online if you meet the necessary requirements and believe this is an opportunity you will thrive in.If you have not been contacted within 14 days, please consider your application as unsuccessful.
