Engineering Manager - Mining (3-Year Project)

Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join their Mining team in the Northern Cape for a 3-year project. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all engineering activities to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the mine.
Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all engineering activities within the mining operation
Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize productivity and cost-efficiency
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Manage the maintenance and repair of mining equipment
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team
Prepare and manage engineering budgets

Requirements:

Grade 12
National Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
GCC Mines and Works qualification
10 years' experience in a similar role within the mining industry
5 years' opencast mining experience
Extensive experience in Earth Moving Equipment
