Engineering Manager (Fmcg)

Responsibilities:Ensure OHSACT compliance regarding machinery safety, boiler and refrigeration system statutory inspections, lifting equipment, major hazardous installationsControl monthly expenditure of engineering department.Manage performance of subordinates through KPIs, courageous talks and robust discussions on breakdownsManage the maintenance, breakdowns and asset reliability schedules and programs to achieve a high-level plant availabilityActive participation in the plant audits as part of the Food safety councilCollaborate with Risk and Production managers to achieve environmental targets in plant, CO2, water, electricity, and coal. Qualifications:BTech/BEng Degree Mechanical or ElectricalGovernment Competency Certificate (Factories)Minimum 5 years experience in a FMCG factory in a similar roleMust have good working knowledge of OHS Act.Good understanding of design codes and equipment integrity restoration practicesSystem and sub-system integrationGood understanding of CMMS (e.g. SAP) and applicable transactionsOHSA and relevant Regulations
