To perform a technical role in assisting the F&B and Industrial Solutions Sales and Application teams to achieve sales and profitability goals by leading all engineering projects that include equipment sales, effective field maintenance and new equipment installation services. Overall responsible for all Engineering and Equipment related projects for the F&B and IS MEAR region.ResponsibilitiesManage engineering equipment audits (Supports sales in collecting engineering related data for tenders, audits and quotes)Implement engineering / equipment related contract wins at customers (within budget)Maintain healthy relationship with suppliers (local and global)Manage key strategic suppliers directly.Implement engineering related projects across the region, assign resources (internal and external), communicate with necessary resources, etc.Participate in all MEA leadership forumsParticipate in global engineering forumsMaintain a healthy equipment sales funnel for MEARLead monthly Engineering Meetings with all engineers in MEARConduct monthly feedback meetings with VPProvide quarterly reporting to Engineering GlobalIdentify and escalate road blocks and risksDefine team members roles and responsibilities.Qualifications And ExperienceEngineering project management experience, preferably 10+ years' experience in project engineering preferably in either food and beverage and/or industrial segmentsExperience in the Water treatment, Minerals Processing, or upstream energy industries is a competitive advantageKnowledge of the key vendors of engineering materials as well as knowledge of the industry standardsExperience in the management of providers of professional services and engineering projectsTeam building and teamwork, coordination capabilities, decision making, optimal communication skills, critical thinking, strategizing, multitasking, timeliness and dependability, demonstrated ability to prioritizeManagement of customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholder relationshipsKey Competencies: Conflict resolution, dealing with ambiguity, change management, coaching, mentoring, training and development of colleagues, persuading and influencing others (staff and non-staff), customer focus, committed to customer excellence, collaborative workingRequires minimal guidance from senior managementProblem solving attitude, creative thinking, technical capabilities, computer literacyProject Management disciplinesMoral Principles and Ethical StandardsStrong sense of accountability
