DESCRIPTION We are looking for a talented Engine Field Service Technician - Level III to join our team specializing in Service for our Service Operations Department in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. Documentation Accuracy: Completing required documentation accurately will ensure proper tracking of repairs, warranties, and quality control.

Safety Compliance: Adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental policies will ensure a safe working environment for you and your colleagues, and compliance with regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: Strong Leadership Skills: The ability to supervise and coordinate a small team of technicians, both in the shop and in the field, ensuring efficient and effective repairs.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools and software, and validating repairs to ensure issues are resolved.
Effective Communication: The capability to document troubleshooting results accurately for payment and historical tracking, and to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Skills in escalating technical issues appropriately, utilizing available resources, and balancing timely customer responses with thorough investigation efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Experience: Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Proficient in computer skills
Locally valid driving permit
Significant field service work experience
Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
Customer service experience
Experience providing technical advice and coaching to more junior technicians (preferred)
