To provide effective and professional ER services to management and employees and to manage sound ER relations.Closing Date: Friday, 30 August 2024.ResponsibilitiesOversee Recruitment and Selection Processes.Manage organisational effectiveness Initiatives to improve climate.Ensure grievances and enquiries are resolved within stipulated time.Ensure management and union compliance on any collective agreements.Ensure managers are upskilled to deal with people in a fair and effective manner.Continually analyse and develop operating procedures as it relates to ER and HR.Manage the engagement process from appointment, enrolment, induction and exit.Provide management and staff with guidance and advice around IR or ER practices.Support the development and implementation of ER initiatives and systems.Represent the company at Bargaining Council and CCMA to effectively resolve disputes.Monitor EE objectives and site targets and report on them monthly to aid with transformation.Participate, assist and organise elections of shop stewards as per recognition agreement & LRA.Facilitate employer-employee engagements, including meetings or consultations with trade unions.Ensure that action points from National Bargaining Forum and local labour management forum are closed out efficiently.Submit monthly reports and actions - Weekly and monthly ER Tracker, absenteeism report, Leave tracker, Late coming.Ensure all HR practices are fair, consistent and executed within the framework of HR policies, procedures and legislation.Motivate, coach, direct and develop direct reports, ensuring continuous development of human resources, creating an operational and process driven learning enabled environment.Provide support to management in resolving employee disputes, including union consultations, grievances, misconduct investigations, etc., and act as a mediator to harmonise working relations.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Labour Relations or equivalent.Required ExperienceMinimum 5 years HR experience with proven strong industrial or employee relations experience in a unionised environment.Knowledge of SAP HR.Sound labour legislation knowledge.Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.Other Competencies Include But Are Not Limited ToReliability.Communication.Stress Tolerance.Attention to detail.Interpersonal skills.Computer Literacy.Integrity and Honesty.Planning and organising.Customer Service Orientation.Desired SkillsEmployee RelationsIndustrial RelationsUnionisedSAP HRShop StewardsTrade UnionsDesired Qualification LevelDegree
