Join us in shaping the future landscape of electronic design within the construction industry.Duties & ResponsibilitiesJob Description:Develop bespoke electronic system specifications and designs tailored to meet client requirements and design standards.Collaborate closely with architects, construction managers, and engineers to seamlessly integrate electronic systems into diverse projects.Leverage CAD software and engineering tools to refine designs and ensure optimal functionality.Conduct thorough feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for innovative electronic system techniques.Maintain meticulous project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.Uphold stringent adherence to statutory, safety, reliability, and sustainability standards for electronic systems.Coordinate effectively with the project team to ensure timely installation and commissioning within allocated budgets.Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities throughout project lifecycles.Facilitate regular project team meetings, offering expert guidance and support as required.Keep stakeholders abreast of project progress and any pertinent changes in milestones.Skills & Experience:Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic engineering design.At least 5 years of experience must be post-registration and should be in planning and implementing electronic systems in production environments.Sound understanding of construction procedures, standards, and project management expertise.Qualification:BSc, BEng, or BTech degree in Electronic Engineering.Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer.Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.Contact WIEDAAD LEEMAN on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTE025185.Connect with us on www.communicate.co.za and Register your CV to create a profile and to view all our Engineering recruitment vacancies.Let us assist you with your career.
