Main job function Conduct on-site inspections of electrical systems and equipment damaged by insured events.Assess damage, take photos, and gather data for reporting purposes.Provide detailed reports, estimates, and recommendations for repairs or replacements.Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols.Specialize in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in buildings and structures.Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment to provide electricity for various purposes.Be able to issue CoC's.Install, upgrade, and maintain all on-site electrical components, in compliance with provided specifications.Ensure optimal functioning of all electrical systems and equipment.Adhere to safety standards such as OSHA.Comply with all pertinent building codes and regulations.Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other industry professionals.Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and changing regulations.Qualifications Grade 12 and Trade Tested Electrician.10 years of experience as an Electrician.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills.Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for on-site inspections).Remuneration: R20000 – R30 000
