To carry out quality repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure effectiveness and availability.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Managing safety checks, circuits, system measures and analysisControl system design and constructionResponsible for faultfinding on electrical and electro-mechanical systemsServicing of equipmentWiring for power and control circuitsWaterproofing of electrical equipmentWiring of premises and breakdown equipmentEnsure that good maintenance of machinery is maintained in the workshopPerforming Root Cause Analysis for Repetitive BreakdownsDetailed feedback on work done, failures, materials used, time usedSystem improvement plans and recommendationsQUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS:Qualified ElectricianN4 with minimum 5 years experienceExperience working in FMCG plants, with refrigeration equipment as wellExperience working with electronic grading systemsPLC programming experienceExperience in HT switching would be an advantageWilling to work long hours, weekends, standby and overtimeMedically fitCOMPETENCIES/SKILLS:Knowledge of Code of Practice 29Good communication skillsAbility to work within a teamTroubleshootingKnowledge of OHS ActAbility to perform under pressureExperience with variable speed drives
