DUR002183 – IRRIGATION FIELD TECHNICIAN– PMB Job Purpose: To manage and execute irrigation system installations, repairs, and maintenance.
This includes overseeing equipment setup, ensuring accurate delivery and security of goods, providing site management, and supporting project and client needs to ensure efficient and effective irrigation solutions.
Required Qualifications: Qualified Millwright/Electrician Required Technical Competencies & Experience: 1-2 Years experience in a similar position.
Previous experience in irrigation systems and fieldwork is preferred.
Perform irrigation repairs and installations.
Erect and service pivot irrigation systems.
Commission and manage irrigation projects.
Handle delivery and installation of pumps and equipment.
Manage site operations, including surveying and pegging.
Provide support for projects and clients, working closely with Sales Engineers.
Learn and apply Stores withdrawal procedures for accurate cost allocations.
