Responsible for Project Management, Coordination of Multi-disciplinary Project Teams, and Project Delivery Managing teams composed of members from different disciplines, ensuring their coordination and collaboration towards project goals. Ensure that iX project start-up processes are followed, and the project scoping is clear and approved. Prepare and evaluate alternative concept designs, prepare reports and estimates and liaise with other professionals, both internally and externally. Develop detail designs, manage the preparation of drawings, and prepare tender documentation. Facilitate and assist with the tender and adjudication process leading up to contractor appointment and site hand over. If required, act as the project discipline Lead Engineer. Budget Management Handling project budgets, resource allocation, and potentially outsourcing project work when necessary. This may also involve negotiating project budgets with other sections or stakeholders. Authoring Technical Reports Preparing technical reports that meet quality standards in terms of technical content and presentation. These reports are often used for documentation and communication purposes. Quality Control Reviewing and checking the work produced by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards. Presentation and Representation Presenting technical work to stakeholders, clients, or higher management. Representing the project or organization in meetings or discussions related to the project. Bid Responses Preparing responses to bids or proposals for new projects, ensuring that they are well-structured and competitive. Business Development and Support Attend tender briefings, providing inputs into tender documentation, writing method statements, assisting with pricing calculations and providing general support during tender processes as and when required. Regularly communicating with clients, addressing their needs, and building strong client relationships. This may involve discussing business technologies and markets. Assisting with training and mentoring of others who are registered as in-training engineers/technologists.
