Electrical Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical operations and maintenance for our mining project in Carletonville.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of electricians and ensuring all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently in accordance with mining regulations.
Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of electricians and electrical artisans Plan, coordinate, and oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment Ensure compliance with South African mining regulations and electrical safety standards Conduct regular inspections of electrical infrastructure and equipment Manage preventive maintenance programs and troubleshoot electrical issues Review and approve electrical work permits Coordinate with other departments to minimize production downtime Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and incidents Develop and implement energy efficiency initiatives Manage inventory of electrical parts and equipment Provide technical guidance and training to electrical team members Physical Requirements: Must pass medical examination as per mining regulations Valid Wireman's License or recognized electrical engineering qualification Minimum 5 years' experience in mining electrical supervision Strong knowledge of South African mining regulations and electrical codes Experience with mining electrical systems including: Medium/low voltage distribution systems Motor control centers PLC systems Underground electrical reticulation Valid driver's license Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
