Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance Maintain and repair electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with mine codes, standards, and procedures.
Conduct proactive maintenance and scheduled servicing to enhance equipment availability and reliability.
Respond to breakdowns immediately to restore operational availability.
Workshop Management Ensure cleanliness and organization in the workshop.
Properly store tools and equipment after use.
Task Execution Follow issued work orders and provide timely and accurate feedback.
Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and lock-out procedures as required.
Asset Care Activities Identify and repair defects to prevent equipment breakdowns, production delays, or injuries.
Plan and utilize parts to minimize downtime.
Team Collaboration Establish effective teamwork and communication among members.
Report progress and challenges to the Chargehand/Foreman.

Requirements Minimum Requirements Education : Grade 12 / Standard 10 Certificate with Maths or Maths Literacy.
Relevant Trade Test Certificate.
Licenses : Code 08 (B) Driver's Licence.
TMM Licences "A" Dover.
Advantageous Qualifications : N2 Certificate.
Certificate of Compliance (CoC).
Experience : 2–3 years of practical, trade-specific experience in heavy industrial, mining, or plant environments.
